Summary

The Nexo Card lets you spend either against a credit line secured by your crypto, or directly from your balance in Debit Mode, and switch between the two in the app. Cashback in NEXO or BTC is earned only in Credit Mode, and the rate depends on your Nexo loyalty tier.

Questions people ask

What is the difference between Credit Mode and Debit Mode?

Credit Mode draws on a credit line secured by your crypto, so your assets stay in place; Debit Mode spends your stablecoins, crypto or fiat balance directly.

How do I reach a higher cashback tier?

Your loyalty tier depends on how much of your Nexo portfolio is held in NEXO tokens; a bigger share puts you in a higher tier.

Is the Nexo Card available outside Europe?

It is mainly offered in the EEA and the UK, and Nexo also lists Andorra, Monaco and Argentina. Eligibility is confirmed in the Nexo app.
