Privacy policy

What we store

We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. We store only what the site needs to work:

• Visit sessions: each visit gets a session record with your IP address and browser type. It is deleted automatically after about two hours without activity.
• Outbound clicks: when you use a "Go to the issuer" button we record the card, the page and language you came from and, if our network provider supplies it, your country code. We don't store your IP address with this record.
• Reports: if you use the report form, we store your message, the link you gave and, if you entered one, your email address.
• Server logs: our hosting server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies

The site sets two cookies: a session cookie and a security cookie that protects forms. Both are needed for the site to work, carry no tracking ID and expire after about two hours.

Fonts, flags and images

Fonts, flags and card images are served from our own server. Our pages don't load anything from Google or other third parties.

Links to card issuers

When you follow a link to a card issuer, you leave Althiqa and the issuer's own privacy policy applies.

How long we keep it

• Visit sessions: about two hours.
• Click records: up to 24 months, used only as statistics.
• Reports: until they are handled and up to 12 months after.
• Server logs: deleted automatically after a limited period.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its use. Send your request through the report form, choose "A privacy request about my data" and leave your email so we can answer. If you live in the EU, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
